About Me

D.A. Abrams is a visionary author, insightful/strategic leader, and inspiring/influential speaker with over three decades of transforming organizations and empowering individuals.

I’m D.A. (David Anthony) Abrams — a best-selling author, transformational C-suite executive, and nationally recognized thought leader whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, diversity, equity & inclusion, organizational strategy, and personal development. With more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience across mission-driven and complex, multi-stakeholder enterprises, I bring a rare combination of strategic vision, operational excellence, and authentic storytelling to every endeavor.

Today I serve as Chief Operating Officer of Groundswell, Inc., a national 501(c)(3) clean energy organization building community power through equitable solar, resilience centers, and pioneering research. I’m also the Founder & CEO of Wingdale Harbors LLC, the parent holding entity for my digital ecosystem of published works, proprietary frameworks, and SaaS products. Previously, I led a distinct business unit of the CFP Board as Managing Director of its Center for Financial Planning (2019–2022), and served as enterprise-wide Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the United States Tennis Association (2012–2019).

As a published author of six books — and contributor to a seventh — I write with the conviction that purposeful leadership and inclusive excellence are not abstract ideals but practical, measurable disciplines. I hold a Master of Management & Administration (MMA) from Metropolitan State University, a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential.

Competitive Tennis Matchmaking

When I’m not on stage or in the boardroom, you’ll find me on the tennis court. NE1410IS is my passion project — a members-club platform designed for competitive players to find same-level partners and meaningful matches. It brings the same strategic thinking I apply to organizations into the world of sport: connecting the right people, at the right level, for the right challenge.
